What Should You Do If You Are Pulled Over For Drunk Driving?

by baronedefensefirm on June 25, 2009

It appears that the most popular video on YouTube on the topic of drunk driving is my video entitled “What Should You Do If Pulled Over For Drunk Driving.”  In this video I am specifically referring to the Michigan drunk driving laws and the Michigan Implied Consent Law.

In this video I explain why you should be polite to the officer when you’re pulled over for drunk driving.  In Michigan drunk driving is also called OWI, OUIL and UBAL and sometimes OWI.

In short, if you are pulled over in Michigan for OWI this is the time for “civil disobedience” meaning after you identify yourself you can and should refuse everything BUT the breath test back at the station.  This includes the roadside field sobriety tasks as well as the road side breath test.
